Breaking Dawn is Here! (Finally!!!!)

As you all should know, since there was a countdown to it on the blog for a while, Breaking Dawn came out yesterday. As expected, I finished within a day and let me say it was mostly FANTASTIC!!! I say mostly because I have three issues with the book, one bigger than the other two. I will try to be as general as possible so as not to give anything away to potential readers which should be all of you. The first and minor problem was the final climax. It didn't have as much . . . action as I predicted and wanted but it wasn't a horrible ending. The second and major issue was the 200+ pages that were from Jacob's point of view. He is definitely not my favorite character and I didn't really enjoy his perspective. I was begging for Bella by the third page of his section. It was difficult to read and it seemed like it would go on forever. But it did end and let me tell you the last page of his point of view was a HUGE shocker (and relief, of course). It was so unexpected that I repeated "Holy crap!!!" for about five minutes straight before I could get over the shock. (Mom and Dad can testify to this.) The third issue I have cannot be described in general terms because I have no idea how to. So when you all have finished it give me a ring and we'll talk about it. If I say only one thing about Breaking Dawn it will be that it makes you believe in the impossible. I must say though, that minus Jacob's point of view, this is my favorite book of the series besides Twilight, of course, because that can never be topped. I absolutely loved the final page and a half. It was beautiful and sweet and heartwarming. It was perfect!
