So Yearbook is going pretty well. So far I have had to only write two pages: siblings and cross country. I don't have either on my computer but I'll bring them home sometime and put them up on the blog. However, I do have one side story. Our entire class had to write an introductory page to the student life section. The editor and Mrs. Jacob then choose the best of the bunch and are going to use it in the yearbook. And guess what?! Mine was chosen! It was very exciting and I am happy to have another page to add to my list. And, for one post only, I have the exclusive story. No one has read this outside of my close friends, the editor, Mrs. Jacob and, of course, Mom and Dad. (Please keep in mind that our theme for the book is ExperienCeHS. CeHS is the abbreviation for Centennial. Like any spirited Coyote will tell you, the 'e' is essential because Catus High School (about 2 miles from Centennial) is shortened to CHS. Ergo, the 'e' is needed to differentiate between the two.)Now, without further adieu, I present to you my student life story!
ex•pe•ri•enCeHS life (ĭk-spîr'ē-əns) (līf) noun, 1: anxiety from the first day of high school and the feeling of being surrounded by giants 2: building life-long friendships 3: adjusting to new teachers and wishing for your favorite ones back 4: cheering on the Coyotes at the ever-exciting football games 5: pumping up the adrenalin and getting excited at the entertaining assemblies 6: joining one of the numerous clubs at Centennial as an excuse to hang out with friends or to support a cause 7: staying up late to do some last minute studying for a final 8: shopping for a dress or worrying if Dad’s old tux will fit for the prom 9: taking the arduous SATs 10: prepping for college and life outside your parent’s home
Life is full of events ranging from dismal to apathetic to exuberant. The experiences we go through during these happenings unquestionably have left their mark on each of us. We gain little bits of knowledge from each choice we make and the lessons we learn. The experiences and wisdom we obtain during our life in high school ultimately mold us into who we are. For each person here at Centennial this is different. We all create our own unique definition of how life should be lived from the events we experience. Some believe that high school should be spent being wild and carefree while others are more serious and work steadily towards college. But in the end, the road we take is not always up to us. Experiences are those inevitable events that make life unpredictable; we can't choose them and we can't change them. We just have to accept the consequences of life and find joy in the journey.
So what do you think? Brownie points to anyone who realized that I copied the last line from General Conference! I'll also have the other stories up as soon as possible. One more piece of good news! I have been assigned the COOP page!!!!! I've wanted that since last semester when I decided to join yearbook. I already have over a hundred and fifty pictures from this year and let me tell you, it is going to be hard to choose which ones to use. They are all so adorable!

Way to go Becci! You are so talented.
Becci Sue, I am so impressed. Seriously, I love how you were keepin' it real by saying that some things are out of our control in life, that was a surprise ending that I really appreciate. Please post the others soon. Lets talk on the phone or webcam soon. I miss you.
Awesome, Becci awesome!! I think you need to keep writing. Like Jenny said you are talented.
I did love the trailer. I didn't really like the hanging in trees part but other than that, I loved it. I can't wait to see the movie. To bad I have to wait until everyone else in the world has seen it. Will you babysit on December 1st so Matt and I can see it.
Of course Melissa. I would love to. Besides by then I'll probably have seen it at least seven times : )(if it is good, that is). By you're wrong that everyone else in the world will have seen it. The premiere is different in every country. Some aren't getting it until February!!!! What a horrific thought! ; )
