My Many Distractions

I've come to realize that I'm a pro at procrastinating. It really doesn't take much to distract me from doing things that I really should be doing like applying for jobs, sewing my quilt, and writing my yearbook stories. Here are just a few of my many distractions:

- My bookshelf - I really can't study in my bedroom with my bookcase just staring at me,calling my name. It's torture, I swear.

- Music - A favorite past-time of mine (especially when I should be responsible and do homework) is dancing in the kitchen with my socks on to my music.(Please note that I have a new playlist with all new songs - anther of my distractions.) I get kinda wild when dancing especially when I'm home alone. : )

- TV - Don't take this the wrong way - I don't watch mindless shows whenever I'm bored. I only watch those specific shows that I've recorded from the previous night, but I always seem to watch them before my homework. A fault, I know, but I'm trying to break it. It's just going really slowly.

- The computer - Oh, the wonderful age of technology. So much to do, so much to get distracted with.

- And finally, this blog ; ) - I know I don't post a lot, but when I do it's because I'm procrastinating something. For instance, right now I should be finishing my yearbook story, but I ended up writing this post to delay the inevitable instead. When will I ever learn?

Okay girl. Procrastinating a little is acceptable, but I think you are making it into a profession. lol Won't it feel better to do the 'hated' stuff first, then totally enjoy the other activities? And you know, it is horrible when you procrastinate at college. Trust me, I know.
