36 Years of Happiness

This post is about 36 events during our married life. Today marks our 36th anniversary. The following events are just some of the things that have happened to us during our time together. I had a longer list but narrowed it down to just 36. As usual, my beautiful wife wants me to change one of the items but (as usual), I am not going to do so. You can guess which one it is.

1. Marriage and Sealing
2. Bear Lake and Beef Jerky
3. Jim's Knee Surgery
4. Purchase of Beef Quarter with Frost's
5. Playing Rook
6. Thanksgiving in Idaho
7. Skaggs
8. Jenny's birth
9. Storehouse Markets
10. Graduations from BYU
11. Wyoming Internship
12. Rachel's birth
13. Rachel's haircut
14. Unemployment
15. Job with Liberty Mutual
16. The Ipecac Episode
17. Melissa's birth
18. Buying our first home in Magna
19. Tibble Fork Vacation
20. Moving to Arizona
21. Purchase of a Piano
22. Dogs--Brandy, Popcorn, Chili
23. LaRee hit by a car while on bicycle
24. Calls to Priesthood Leadership Positions
25. Miscarriage
26. Becci's birth
27. Melissa's wedding
28. Jenny's wedding
29. Plantar Fasciitis
30. Call to Relief Society President (2)
31. Trip to Brazil
32. Rachel's wedding
33. First Grandchild
34. Substituting in Special Ed
35. Job at SCF Arizona
36. New furniture, carpet and ceilings

We have about 15 more that didn't make the list.

What a great life. We have experienced things we never dreamed of and trials and blessings never imagined. We wouldn't change our lives. We made a great decision 36 years ago. Many years left to go. As someone once said in Toy Story, "To infinity and beyond."

This is awesome Dad. And pretty funny in parts. I can't for the life of me guess which one Mom wanted changed. And your last line is perfect! :)

Mom didn't like the addition of Plantar Fasciitis.
