37 Anniversary Gifts

Today Jim and I celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. It has been a wonderful 37 years. There have been trials during that time but the blessings and great times definitely out number the challenges. Among those blessings are 4 daughters and 8 grandchildren. I also have to say that Jim is the best blessing that I have received from our marriage. He is so fun, considerate, helpful, wise and just all around perfect. He honors his priesthood and is a great provider. For the past 37 days he has given me an anniversary gift for each year we have been married. He used a combination of the Traditional and Modern gift list. It has been fun and I know he has enjoyed the process even though I think it was a challenge at times. There have been times that he looked like the cat that just swallowed the mouse, he was so pleased and excited. So here is a list of the gifts I have received starting on July 16th:

LOVE IT! Nice statue. Very unique. It was fun to hear of his ideas and to help think of things to get you. You should write the stories of some of them. Like playing the kazoos together (that made me laugh) or the puzzle. He thought you were going to hate that puzzle. I'm glad you blogged about it. This is something you and us can always remember. Love that dad of mine!!

You are so creative, Dad. We are the blessed ones to have you and Mom as our parents.
