The New Presidency

I came home from school today and Mom immediately brought up the subject of our new presidency. Our conversation went something like this:

MOM: The new presidency was announced this morning. I was a little surprised at who they called but can you guess who it was?
BECCI: Monson, Eyring, and ummm.... Uchtdorf?
MOM: Yeah, actually he is! *shocked expression*
BECCI: REALLY???!!! OH MY GOODNESS THIS IS SO GREAT! I TOTALLY CALLED IT! I'M GOING TO HAVE TO TEXT LEAH AND TELL HER I WAS RIGHT! *jumps up and down on couch with a huge smile plastered on face*

So to explain that last part, I was in seminary a couple days ago and we were talking about who we thought the next counselor was going to be. Everyone thought it would be Packer but I said Utchdorf. They all scoffed at my idea though and said I only liked him because he has a fun name to say. Which it really is. I could say his name all day and never get tired of it! But I also love him because he gives AMAZING talks! His talks and Pres. Hinckley's talks in conference were always the ones I loved and listened to the most. I just can't express how excited I am that he is in the presidency. He is so awesome and is going to do so great! He is such a great influence in my life. I can't wait to hear his talk in conference and hopefully I'll be there for it! That would be fantabulous!
