Cabbage Ramen Salad

Here is a great dish for these hot summer months. You don't need to turn on the oven and it is super easy. You can make it even easier by buying the packaged shredded cabbage and using canned chicken. Enjoy!

CABBAGE-RAMEN NOODLE SALAD

1/2 head cabbage, sliced sm.
1 pkg. uncooked Chicken Ramen noodles, broken
1 sm. onion, diced
1/4 green pepper, if desired
1/4 c. sunflower seeds or almond slivers
1 c. chicken (optional)
1 can pineapple tidbits (optional)

DRESSING:
Combine and pour over above ingredients: 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. Accent, 1/2 tsp. pepper, 3 tbsp. vinegar, and the Chicken noodle seasoning packet.

For luncheon main dish, use chicken and serve bread. For a side salad, leave chicken out.

I love that salad, but nobody else in my family likes it. :(

I make this salad a lot, especially when I'm prego. But my recipe is slightly different. Jenny you should make it anyway and eat it all yourself. I do that a lot too.
