Halloween Happenings and Other Randomness

I'm a little late with this post, I know, but better late than never right? Halloween was a little different for me this year. Our ward neglected to have a Halloween party and opted for a "Fall Festival". Not really what I wanted but it was okay. On Oct. 31st Centennial had it's Homecoming game against Sunrise Mountain. The funny thing is, the other team tagged our school the day before with inappropriate graffiti. They basically bragged about how they were going to kick our butts but ironically, we beat them 55 to 0 while playing only our 2nd and 3rd string players! It was a great game but I didn't get to dress up so I asked myself, "Self, are you going to go costume-less this Halloween? I don't think so." After begging Mom to make me a cape and shopping frantically at all the local shoes stores to find the perfect heels, I finally had my costume. My last chance to have a real Halloween was with the COOP kids. So I went to school all dressed up in my costume (which coincidentally went with the Homecoming theme of the day: dress up as your favorite fantasy character) and went trick-or-treating with the COOP kids to some of the teacher's classrooms. They were adorable and loved every minute of it, as did I. Most of the teachers bought lots of candy so they gave the rest to us student teachers. It was great. Now on to details of my costume! I was little red riding hood as seen below. The hood is courtesy of my fabulously talented mother and the shoes are from my rapidly growing favorite store, Azhara. The heels are 4 inches tall and amazingly PERFECT! I could not have found better shoes and everyone I've come across has loved them. I don't care what some people say - coughrachelcough - these are the BEST shoes in the world and I will wear them with every Sunday outfit that goes with them! I don't think I've ever loved a pair of shoes as much as I do these. Anyway, enough talk of my fabulous shoes, on to pictures!

As for other randomness, Centennial played Ironwood last Friday, and predictably, we kicked their butts. We won 44 to 0. That's all I have to say on that subject. I think you all know what message I'm trying to get across. ; )

Further random info: I found a new singer and I just love this song and her voice. She reminds me strongly of Regina Spector and A Fine Frenzy. Check her out here.

And, since I can't seem to do a post without mentioning Twilight at least once, I found this hilarious video on youtube. It's a Twilight trailer spoof that made me laugh so hard, I cried! YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS! Even if you don't like Twilight or have never read it, you will undoubtedly find it amusing. You can find it here. It has over 2 million hits so you can tell how many people like it just from that. Please, please, PLEASE watch it! You won't regret it, I promise! But be sure you have seen the real trailer first or else it won't be as comical. Also, you HAVE to watch it till the end because that is the best part of the entire thing. You don't want to miss it, trust me. Only 11 days left!!!! : ))))))))))

Becci, those shoes are way cool. And you looked great for Halloween. The question I want to have answered is: How long can you wear them before your feet hurt?

I don't care about HS football. Centennial can beat Ironwood anyday they please. I'm just glad I went to IHS. So much better than going to CeHS (at least, in my day). I would have been first grad. class and would have been stuck with my yucky Murphy classmates.

I didn't see a link for the Twilight spoof trailer.
